Prepare the Chest

Take a hinged egg carton and trim rough edges. The bottom holds treasure, the bumpy lid is the chest top!

Paint Your Chest

Paint the outside gold or brown. Add darker lines for wood-plank details. Let it dry fully.

Add Decorations

Add stickers for jewels, draw a lock and hinges with markers, and sprinkle on glitter!

Fill with Treasure

Fill with foil-wrapped coins, scrunched foil gems, and shiny small items. Hide it for others to find!
